Malakai Lodge - Booking & Cancelletion Policy
CONFIRMING A BOOKING:
A deposit of one night's room rate, or 50% of the entire stay, whichever is greater, is required to hold a reservation.
We accept credit cards.
Guests are responsible for the entire length of stay reserved.
As we are not a regular hotel, we do not receive bookings from passing traffic. All our bookings are made by preceding arrangements. Due to this and our intimate size, cancellations affect us significantly. Consequently we must adhere to a strict cancellation policy which is as follows:
*Cancellations notified more than 60 days prior to arrival will be entitled to a full refund less a $10.00 administration fee.
*Cancellations notified less than 60 days prior to arrival will be charged for full period. Any alterations to length of stay ie. shortening of period booked, will be charged for full period unless 60 days notice is given prior to arrival.
*Failure to arrive (i.e. a no show) will be charged for full period booked.
*If all cancelled nights can be re-booked, all charges are waived.
*Travel insurance is recommended for all bookings to provide adequate protection against cancellation of travel.
